Tetsuko Kuroyanagi 黒柳徹子 is a well known Japanese TV personality and novelist (she wrote the best-selling children’s book Totto-chan, the Little Girl at the Window) who is host of Japan’s first daily TV talk interview show Tetsuko’s Room (TV Asahi) since 1975.
She has interviewed almost every Japanese celebrity and last year she interviewed one of Japan’s most beautiful and talented women, gravure idol, singer, and actress Yukie Nakama 仲間 由紀恵 .
